Denpasar, the capital city of Bali is a vibrant urban area that offers a mixture of traditional Balinese culture and modern amenities. The area is known for its busy markets, historic temples and lively streets which seems to give a good glimpse into authentic Balinese life. One of the most famous area near Denpasar is Kuta.
Kuta is a beach resort town about 13 minutes drive from Ngurah Rai Airport. Re-known for its beaches, excellent surf breaks and thriving nightlife scenes. Most visitors to Kuta seems to flock here to soak up the sun, ride waves, shop local crafts and check out the bustling bars and restaurants along the beach. All that being said, we found Kuta to be a family friendly Balinese destination with an international flair.
